Get it as soon as Tue, Aug 4. The Joker make-up is a dazzler, and the rubbery texture of the Batsuit is nothing less than sublime. If there’s a complaint about this disc, it will come by way of the color.
The Batmobile was the bomb back in 1989 and in this latter day viewing it remains the bomb...kinda symphony between a C7 Corvette 25 years before its time and the Dodge Viper.
Batman Forever (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital) Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 19, 2016 HDR and WCG is one of the main features of the 4K UHD format. As for the colour grading, the new remaster is closer to the original timing/grading, than the old DVD/Blu-ray versions were. Batman Returns looks even better I think and yes same effect for the teal. Every exaggerated motion. Tim Burton’s solo commentary features on both the Blu-ray and UHD.

It will still drive us fans nuts.I had hoped that 4k revisits night finally mean the directorâs cut of Forever would be released but I doubt that will ever happen unfortunately.Yeah I have a Sony X930E and the teal is only slightly more than the original.
Batman is a 1989 American superhero film directed by Tim Burton and produced by Jon Peters and Peter Guber, based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Bought this ages ago but just unwrapped it now.
The steelbook is of excellent quality and the colours of the video on bluray are phenomenal. The better and more noteworthy improvements come by way of the enhanced contrast and brightness levels, displaying crisper, more luminous whites and richer, dark ebony blacks than its HD SDR counterpart. The old SEDVD DTS you mentioned is good but like many dts dvd tracks is merely a few decibels louder than the Dolby track.
On the whole, the jump into the object-based audio territory offers a few welcomed improvements over its TrueHD counterpart, most notably a slighter wider and more spacious soundstage, which is especially appreciated in Danny Elfman's recognizable score.
It is always good to see what a director can do presenting a new vision of something "established". See what people are saying about this story or others
