At that point, I reached out to 8bitdo's tech support and to NamtsoStore for support. You can even use it as a wired USB controller with the included USB cable. I have not really put the battery life to the full test because I am in the habit of placing the controller on the charger at night, however I can say; I have played 12+ hours in the day during this lockdown and the controller lasts all day.

The product was fantastic - until it randomly stopped working shortly outside the 30-day return window.
This is my second 8Bitdo product and the second to be defective. I've been using it on Switch, and I prefer the overall feel to both the Joy-Cons and Pro Controller. the rumble isn't HD like official nintendo products but it works well enough, be sure to update the controller when you receive it as the rumble isn't set up correctly out of the box.

this is a good controller, it has the nostalgic feel whilst being a semi-cheap controller that player 2 wouldnt mind using. I would say this device is near perfect.

Left analog stick intermittently sticks.
The only problem i had was that the left joystick has a tendency to stick to random positions and you have to manually set it back to the middle, i found that taking a tiny flat head screwdriver and loosening some of the screws on the back a tiny bit fixes the problem immediately. It looks and feels exactly like a SNES controller and is perfect for 2D side scrolling games like Mario.
This is a rough one to review - because in almost every way I want to give this 5 stars.
